Ukrainian KSG Agro in Q2 2020 increased sales of hogs by 41%"The increase in pork sales is consistent with our strategic priorities," Sergey Kasyanov, the chairman of the BOD of the KSG Agro, comments "Today, high-quality domestic pork is in great demand in our country, which also the dynamics of price growth demonstrates. The competitive advantage of our holding is the production of hogs based on high-quality Danish genetics. This allows us to predict the further increase in sales of pig breeding products.

One might recall that within the framework of the KSG Agro investment program in 2020, most of the planned investments at more than 25 million UAH will be aimed for modernization (de facto - construction) of a feeding floor for piglets and breeding house for sows. Construction of an additional feeding section will allow to get a modern production facility for 2340 head of pigs on feed - piglets from 30 kg and hogs in slaughter weight up to 100-110 kg. Operation of an additional breeding house will improve sows welfare in the pig complex and will make possible to increase piglets production and their quality characteristics.
