According to the World Animal Health Organization, cases of the disease of susceptible species of animals of African swine fever have been recorded in this Russian region. In this regard, from February 23, temporary restrictions are introduced on imports into Belarus of live pigs, zoo and circus animals of susceptible species, pork (including wild boar meat) and other food pig raw materials, as well as products of their processing, leather, hornbeam and intestinal raw materials, bristles, hunting trophies obtained from animal susceptible species, other products.

The department informs about the need for additional measures for the biological protection of pig breeding complexes of all forms of ownership.
