Belgorod exporters have opened markets of New Zealand and Papua New Guinea

Belgorod pork exporters have opened markets of New Zealand and Papua New Guinea

According to the Russia VPSS/Rosselkhoznadzor, 3660 batches of livestock products were exported from the Belgorod region last year. There were 91 agro-industrial enterprises with access to foreign markets. Their products were supplied to 32 countries.

New pork shipments have recently been opened to New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. According to Ausheva, in the past two years, certification giving the right to export products to countries abroad has been increasingly passing by local meat processing enterprises.

The main destinations for meat imports in 2020 were Abkhazia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and the countries of Southeast Asia: China, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Some raw materials and technical fat of animal origin produced in the Belgorod region were supplied to the countries of the European Union.
