Export prices for pork carcasses and half carcasses of Russian production in 2020, according to AB-Center calculations, built according to the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, were at around 1.88 USD / kg (average stat. Export value), for cuts on bones - 2, 10 USD / kg, for rolled meat (not including trimming) - 2.59 USD / kg, for trimming - 2.10 USD / kg, for liver - 0.81 USD / kg, for pork fat - 1.19 USD / kg.

Compared to 2019, prices for carcasses and half-carcasses decreased by 9.6%, for cuts on bones - by 23.6%, for rolled meat (excluding trimming) - by 11.3%, for trimming - by 4, 5%, liver - by 18.0%, pork fat - by 18.4%.

Export prices for pork in rubles

During the year there was a decrease in prices for bone cuts - by 13.1%, for rolled meat (excluding trimming) - by 1.1%, for liver - by 8.6%, for pork fat - by 8.8%. However, prices for carcasses and half-carcasses increased by 1.1%, and for trimming - by 7.0%.

In general, in 2020, export prices for Russian pork were lower than in 2019, which largely contributed to the increase in export supplies (see the article Analysis of the export of pork, pork offal, bacon and commercial pigs from the Russian Federation in 2001–2020).

However, if we consider the trends exclusively for 2020, then in the second half of the year prices were higher than in the first. This applies not only to the dynamics of export prices, but also to prices in the domestic market
