The Meat Forum for the Ukrainian Meat Processors was held in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev

More than 150 meat market players of the country took part in the Forum offline, gathered in the conference hall of the Kiev Favor Park Hotel, 6 Konev Avenue. The same number of participants from all over the country watched the conference online on March 12, 2021.

Jessica SpritzerThe U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) took part with online presentations by USMEF trade analyst Jessica Spritzer with an overview of pork production in the world and in the United States in 2020 and outlooks for the global pork market and for the US pork industry in 2021.

 

Chad Carr

Chad Carr, a professor at Florida State University, invited Forum participants to get known about the US pork fabrication standards more closely, as they differ from breaking standards in Europe, South America and Ukraine itself. Also, Professor Carr showed deboning and portion control for retail of such pork cuts as the Boston Butt, Ham bone-in ham and the whole pork Loin.

To taste the U.S. pork the Meat Forum participants were offered smoked Pulled Pork and grilled pork baby back ribs.
