The program of the veterinary school will consist of five modules – 20 hours of lectures – that will cover the main issues of maintaining pig health and diagnosing diseases. The topics will be covered by leading foreign and domestic experts.

The first module focuses on the development of a herd vaccination protocol, acclimatization practices for newly acquired gilts, management of gilts, and implementation of a laboratory monitoring program on the farm.

«From year to year, AUPB holds various training events, including for pig farm veterinarians. The Veterinary School will help to improve the skills of veterinarians who already work on farms, as well as those who are just joining this difficult but interesting field,» the AUPB commented.
