Promotion of American pork in the Republic of Georgia - photo report

Several events to promote American pork in Georgia were held by the American Meat Export Federation (USMEF) in this October.

On October 16, at the annual Jazz and Wine Kakheti, the Radisson Collection Tsinandali Georgia country hosted a tasting of American pork dishes for jazz fans. Pulled pork pita, St. Louis pork ribs and pork chops did not leave indifferent connoisseurs of the best American pork in the world.

The acquaintance of Georgian end consumers with US pork did not end there and continues at the American Pork Festival in Georgia. American pork dishes are featured on the menus of several restaurants in Kakheti and Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

A master class on American pork for HoReCa market participants was held on October 17 at Vazisubani Estate Kakhetiya.

Oleg Starun, a well-known chef consultant from Ukraine, USMEF Ambassador Oleg Starun, demonstrated American pork cuts for the HoReCa market and food service to the participants of the master class, methods of their preparation on smokehouses and grills.

Wellington Pork and Pork Boston Butt for Pulled Pork were masterfully prepared by Chef Oleg.
