The head of the Department of the State Consumer Service in the Chernivtsi region, Angela Kosovan, clarified that in the period from April 11 to 13, 100 sows and 320 young heads died on the farm. The diagnosis of ASF was confirmed by specialists from a departmental laboratory in Ivano-Frankovsk.

On Wednesday, April 14, a meeting of the anti-epizootic commission took place, which determined the boundaries of the epizootic focus and threatened zones. Approved a plan of measures to eliminate the focus and prevent the further spread of infection.

As of April 15, 541 cases of African swine fever were registered in Ukraine.
