Ukraine Received About 50 Units of Laboratory Equipment from USDA
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), with the mediation of the Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders and the Save Ukraine Charitable Foundation, has donated laboratory equipment worth almost $350 thousand to the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. The equipment was donated to the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection to help maintain the health, production and welfare of animals in Ukraine.
The equipment arrived on July 11 at the warehouse of the State Research and Control Institute of Veterinary Preparations and Feed Additives in Lviv.
The shipment was formed at the request of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the USDA. The equipment was collected from laboratories across the United States.
"Both in peacetime and in wartime, ensuring animal health control is a priority, so improving the technical base of veterinary laboratories is of great importance to our country. We thank the USDA for the work done, which will improve the ability to quickly and efficiently diagnose diseases, train staff and conduct research in the field of animal health in Ukraine," the industry association commented.
