Ukrainian agricultural holding KSG Agro launched the production of packaged pork for retail

Agricultural holding KSG Agro has launched its own line to produce packaged pork in the city of Dnipro. The line of vacuum-packed meat involves packing products, both in bulk and in portion format. This was reported by the press service of the company.

It is noted that the capacity of the line, equipped with imported equipment with the necessary rework, allows to vacuumize packages within the range from 2 to 8 kg and amounts to 1 Mt of pork products per hour.

KSG Agro said that thanks to their own line of vacuum-packed meat, they are be able to supply to retail chains a pork produced by the pig farm in the village of Niva Trudovaya, Apostolovsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Recently there was launched a pilot project with a food retail chain VARUS, where lumpy vacuum-packed pork is supplied with pack weight from 5 to 8 kg.

"The launch of the packed meat line is another step towards improving the quality of our products for the final consumer. Packing meat in vacuum packaging of various shapes increases the safety of our pork, as well as this is safer for customers during a corona virus pandemic, "said Sergei Kasyanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KSG Agro Agricultural Holding.
