Viet Nam to launch ASF vaccines with 100% protection by the end of this year

Dabaco plans to launch mass production of ASF vaccines in the Q4.

Following the successful results of the latest trials, Dabaco has taken the decision to begin mass production of an ASF vaccine. Already by the fourth quarter of this year, such vaccines will be available to local pig farmers. Company CEO Nguyen Nhu So said that according to the results of recent tests, all batches of the vaccine showed 100 percent protection against ASF. Dabaco spent US$12.7 million to build a vaccine manufacturing plant in Hanoi. The facility will produce ASF, FMD and CSF vaccines, which are expected to be commercially available by the fourth quarter of this year, Mr. So said.
