Group of companies "Agroeco" reported on the growth of pork production

The Agroeco group of companies reported that in the first 9 months of 2021, it produced 207 thousand tons of pork in live weight. Last year's figure was lower – at the level of 160 thousand tons.

Agroeko said that the growth in pork production was due to the commissioning of new pig-breeding complexes in the Voronezh region in January this year and the completion of the formation of a livestock cluster in the Tula region. The group of companies predicts that by the end of this year, Agroeco will have 1.5 million heads of one-time maintenance.

Agroeco also recalls the imminent opening of a slaughter line at a meat processing plant in Pavlovsk. The line's capacity will be 600 heads per hour. The company claims that the full launch of this enterprise will allow the agricultural holding to enter retail with deeply processed products.

We add that in the first half of 2021, the volume of pork production by Russian enterprises amounted to 2.4 million tons. This is 2% more than the same period last year.
