Servings: 4
Prep Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup cornmeal

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 cup milk

4 boneless pork loin chops (pounded until 1/4 inch thick)

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. black pepper

1 cup canola oil

4 hamburger buns

1. Combine cornmeal, flour, and seasonings in a shallow bowl. Place milk in another shallow bowl. Season pork chops with salt and pepper then dip in the milk. Let any excess drip off and then dredge in the flour/cornmeal mixture.

2. Heat oil in a heavy bottom skillet over medium high until the temperature reaches 350-375°F. Carefully add your pork chops in batches and cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Drain on a paper towel and then assemble on the hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.
