September pork exports accounted for 24.0% of pork production and 28.1% when including variety meats, compared to 23.2% and 27.4% for September 2022

January – November pork exports accounted for 26.6% of pork production and 29.3% when adding variety meats, up from 23.0% and 26.4% for January – November 2019.
October pork exports accounted for 23.2% of pork production and 26.0% when including variety meats as compared to 20.9% and 24% for October 2019. January – October pork exports accounted for 26.5% of pork production and 29.2% when adding variety meats, up from 22.6% and 26.0% for January – October 2019.
September pork exports accounted for 23.9% of pork production and 26.5% when including variety meats as compared to 21.7% and 25.1% for September 2019.
January – August pork and variety meat exports totaled 1.993 million mt, up 17% or +290,000 mt.
January – July pork and variety meat exports totaled 1.775 million mt, up 20% or +294,050 mt from last year.
June pork exports accounted for 22.2% of pork production and 24.0% when including variety meats as compared to 24.0% and 27.8% for June 2019.
May pork exports accounted for 33.3% of pork production and 36.2% when including variety meats as compared to 23.3% and 27.3% for May 2019.
April pork exports accounted for 32.2% of pork production and 36.2% when including variety meats as compared to 23.3% and 26.6% for April 2019.
March pork exports accounted for 28.4% of pork production and 31.6% when including variety meats (down slightly from the Feb 2020 and Dec 2019 highs with massive March production) as compared to 22.7% and 25.6% for March 2019.
February pork exports accounted for 29.9% of pork production and 32.9% when including variety meats (surpassing the previous highs of 29.3% and 32.1% in Dec 2019).
January pork exports accounted for 27.4% of pork production and 29.8% when including variety meats.

December pork exports accounted for 29.3% of pork production (record high) and 32.1% when including variety meats (also record high) as compared to 23.6% and 26.1% for December 2018.
November pork exports accounted for 26.8% of pork production (the highest on record) and 29.7% when including variety meats (the highest since last April), as compared to 22.0% and 24.5% for November 2018.

August pork exports were fairly steady with last year’s volume, but retaliatory duties in key markets continued to pressure pork export value.
Pork/PVM export volume was the second highest for the month of May behind last year.
