“This was a world-class barbecue competition and it was important that U.S. pork and beef were front and center during the event,” said Don Mason, USMEF representative in Colombia. “U.S. pork and beef were used for the competition and we hosted a seminar and reception in which we shared new menu ideas and new recipes with chefs and restaurant owners.”

Funding support for the tournament was provided by Indiana Soybean Alliance, USDA’s Market Access Program, the Beef Checkoff Program, Texas Beef Council and the soybean and corn checkoff programs.
