Stuffed Porterhouse American Pork Chops

Ingredients

4 Pork Loin Center Cut Chops

6 oz Cornbread Stuffing Mix

1/2 Cup of Dried Cranberries

1/2 Cup of Green Apple (peeled and diced)

1/2 Cup of Onion (diced)

1/2 Cup of Celery (diced)

1 1/2 Cup of Vegetable Broth

1/4 Cup of Margarine

1 1/2 Tbsp All Purpose Seasoning

Pork Gravy (optional)

Cooking

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

2. With a knife, create a pocket on the side of the pork chops

3. Season both sides of the pork chops with all purpose seasoning

4. Set pork chops aside

5. In a saucepan, melt the margarine over medium

6. Add apples, celery, onion, dried cranberries, and broth

7. Bring to boil

8. Remove from heat and add cornbread stuffing mix

9. Stir until well incorporated, and let cool

10. Return to the pork, and insert stuffing mixture into pockets

11. Place pork in a baking safe dish

12. Place in oven for 35 minutes, until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit with a 3 minute rest. Serve with pork gravy and enjoy.
