The State Statistics Service in Ukraine has identified the cheapest and most expensive kind of meat

The most affordable  kind of meat for Ukrainians is chicken, while pork remains more expensive. At the same time, the average salary in the country decreased. Such data were published by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (Gosstat), reports UNN.

The State Statistics Service has calculated how much a Ukrainian should be paid in May for a kilogram of meat products. So, chicken was the cheapest. For a kilogram of this poultry carcass, on average, it was necessary to pay 67.2 UAH, chicken fillet was selected to 107 UAH - on average, 106.9 UAH had to be paid for pitted meat.

Pork meat is much more expensive than chicken meat. According to the State Statistics Service, the average cost of pork was estimated at UAH 120.6 per kilogram.

The most expensive kind of meat in Ukraine is called beef. Its cost averaged UAH 160.3 per kilogram.
