Master Class on American Pork and Cooking Demo in Uralsk, Kazakhstan

To continue a program of American Pork promotion for ethnic HRI outlets in the Region USMEF conducted on March 14 master class American Pork in Uralsk, one of the most famous cities of Kazakhstan.

USMEF conducted еhe first American Pork master class for HRI market players in Uralsk at Khutorok restaurant with Ukrainian cuisine, the menu of which includes pork dishes.

USMEF representative Galina Kochubeeva told the participants about the best properties of American pork and explained why American pork is so popular and in demand all over the world.

Invited speaker and Khutorok brand chef Alexander Khavalets introduced American Pork Tenderloin, bone-in Loin, Ham bone-in, Boston Butt, Spareribs and Baby Back Ribs. The chef emphasized advantages of the American Pork industry, features American Pork cuts, revealed the secrets of properly storing American Pork, handling, cutting each of the cut considered, proper cooking, shared his favorite recipes.

The American Pork Cooking Demo was attended byrestaurateurs, chefs, sous-chefs from ethnic and non-halal HRI outlets from Western Kazakhstan.

On Thursday March 14, USMEF conducted American Pork gastro dinner for  American Pork lovers at Khutorok restaurant.

Specially created menu included the diversified American pork dishes as follows:

  • Cossack style pulled pork
  • Potato flapjack stuffed with fried pork
  • Salad with smoked pork boston butt
  • Varenyky with fried pork
  • Pork baby ribs, roasted in cognac and cherry
  • Stolichnaya pork cutlet
  • Breaded pork chops bone-in

This fantastic menu with American Pork delighted the restaurant guests, the pork lovers.
