China has allowed pork supplies from Russia

"Restrictions on the import of pork from Russia, established earlier by the current General Directorate for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, as well as by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China by the announcement of 2008, no longer apply," the report says.

The decision was made based on the results of a risk assessment and analysis of the system of state control of African swine fever (ASF) in Russia. The Chinese authorities will separately formulate inspection and quarantine requirements for Russian products.

It is noted that the Russian department has been working since 2013 to ensure the admission of pig products to the Chinese market. This procedure included the negotiation process, the organization of visits by representatives of China to Russia to get acquainted with the work in the pig industry, and so on.
