The American Pork Masterclass in Republic of Georgia

The American Pork Masterclass is hosted by the American Meat Export Federation in Georgia. The master class will be held on October 17 at 14:00 at the Vazisubani Estate Kakhetiya.

The host is a well-known chief consultant from Ukraine, USMEF Chief Ambassador Oleg Starun.

Chef Oleg has a vast experience of working with American meat products. With his culinary masterpieces, Oleg conquered fans of American meat both at home - in Ukraine and abroad. Oleg completed an internship in the United States and is the Chief Ambassador of USMEF. He takes part in USMEF educational and marketing programs on pork and beef for HoReCa market players and for end consumers in the Region, and has worked in Georgia several times.

The purpose of this master class is to acquaint chefs and restaurateurs with American pork cuts for the HoReCa market and food service, to show the methods of cooking them on smokers (smokehouses) and grills as part of the barbecue culture in the United States, and to appreciate the taste of American pork.

The introduction of American pork to Georgian end consumers will continue at the American Pork Festival in Georgia. American pork will be featured on the menus of several restaurants in Kakheti and Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

And on the eve of the master class - on October 16 at 19:00 at the Radisson Collection Tsinandali Georgia country at the annual Jazz and Wine Kakheti music festival, a tasting of American pork dishes for jazz fans will take place.
