Employees of the Nizhny Novgorod laboratory of chemical and toxicological studies revealed antibiotics in the meat samples "Frozen semi-finished product from poultry meat - Chicken chops in Roman style" and "Semi-finished product from pork. Chilled pork leg". These products do not meet the safety parameters of Florfenicol. According to the press service of the NRC Rosselkhoznadzor, some employers deliberately add antibiotics to products to increase the shelf life.

The Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Tyumen Region, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Districts has identified antibiotics in the meat products of the Tyumen enterprise.

In April, they conducted an unscheduled on-site inspection of the pig breeding enterprise Soglasie LLC. In May 2021, the results of studies of 11 product samples taken during the inspection were received from the Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory from the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory".

An antibiotic of the lincosamide group, lincomycin, was found in 7 samples. Antibiotics were found in chopped manti, chilled boiled sausage Domashnyaya with bacon, Selskaya boiled sausage, Derevenskaya semi-smoked sausage, Tyumensky semi-smoked sausage, Tyrolskie sausages, Venskaya sausage.

Just yesterday, the representative of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) in the Russian Federation Jean Perche said at the summit “Agrarian Policy of Russia.
