KSG Agro put into operation a fattening shop for 2.4 thousand heads at the pig complex

After reconstruction, KSG Agro Agroholding put into operation a new fattening shop at a pig complex in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The fattening shop is designed for 2.4 thousand piglets. It is complete with modern equipment of the German company Big Dutchman, which is one of the world leaders in the market for the production of equipment for feeding and keeping pigs, in particular, piglets on rearing.

"The introduction of a new fattening shop allowed us to increase the number of pigs: since the beginning of the year, it has already increased by 24% - from 50 thousand up to 62 thousand heads. And this is our contribution to strengthening the food security of Ukraine", – commented Sergiy Kasianov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro.

As previously reported, since the outbreak of hostilities, the number of personnel has increased by 30%. The company also declared an increase in its market share in the pork market of Dnipropetrovsk region from 50% to 80%.
