Master class on Korean-style American pork and BBQ at Almaty
Supported by the American Meat Export Federation (USMEF), a master class on American pork was held in Almaty, the largest metropolis of Kazakhstan. On March 25, the culinary studio of Weller Asia was filled with participants, mainly chefs and specialists of the hospitality industry.
Outstanding specialists in American red meat, consulting chefs Evgeny Nazirov and Irina Kim demonstrated the skill of cooking a variety of dishes from American pork in Asian style, pulled pork in Jack Daniels sauce, baby back ribs and ribs St. Louis.
The participants were particularly interested in spicy pork ribs in sweet and sour ginger-citrus marinade, juicy pork chops Tonkatsu in crispy breading and pulled American pork with various Asian sauces.
